Okay, maybe flap is overstating it. But the website Hollywood Elsewhere posted a critique of my Tribeca Film Festival flasher spot. Interesting perspectives, though the main beef seems to be about whether I keep my coat open or closed and what this says about my sexual aggression.
Whoa! My comedic instinct says it’s funnier with it open the whole time. I also think that if I was a typical flasher, it’s unlikely that I’d stop and flirt and hit it off with anyone. So maybe the rules of this interaction aren’t a typical day.
Anyway, fun to get the attention. I had my first “hey, you’re the flasher” moment last night at the UCB Theatre. Two people leaving were giving me a weird look, and then they explained. I guess that’s cool!
