You know what they say: “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade.” So I’m taking this “opportunity” (or what I’m gonna call a ‘whoopsertunity’–that WILL catch on) to change this blog and how it functions.

I think of this blog (that’s short for Web Log, as I’ve learned…you’re welcome) as a promotional mouthpiece for all things Doug Moe. I tend to be a lazy poster, knowing that it’s not especially charming to go on and on about yourself when no one is listening.

And hey, I have Facebook for the constant updates of what it is I’m doing >this< second. So I don't think it'll be that. If you want to know what I'm doing >right< now, you’ll have to look at me. If you can’t see me, you’re out of luck.

But I’ve been a bit prudish with this site. I’ve been bashful about sharing thoughts and insights when I have them. I haven’t been as forthcoming as I might have been. I’ve been secretive. I’ve been boring. And I haven’t been much fun.

SO: Let Dougmoedotnet 3.0 start. It’ll still be sporadically updated, still be about Doug Moe, but maybe Dougmoedotnet 3.0 will loosen his electric tie a little and get LOOSE.

I basically did the kind of stupid thing that only old people who don’t know how to use computers do:  I destroyed all my old posts and content.  It’ll be up again soonish.  Sigh.
